COVID-19 Recovery Grants

The priorities of the new COVID-19 Recovery Grants are providing the immediate support our community needs to help us through this time, while planning for our recovery together.

Timelines
These grants opened on Wednesday, 29 April, and will be an ongoing round. That is, there will be no closing dates for applications while funding is available. This is to ensure that we can be responsive in this time, and we are working towards an assessment turnaround time of 2-3 weeks from submission.

How to apply
Applications will still be available through SmartyGrants. Access the form at any time from our website as of Wednesday, 29 April.

Who is eligible to apply
Grants are open to community groups and not-for-profit organisations that are incorporated or supported by an auspice, local businesses (with less than 50 FTE employees) sole traderssocial enterprises, and traders associations based and operating in Moonee Valley. See the guidelines for the full list of eligibility criteria.

How much can be applied for
Grant limits range from up to $5,000 to up to $20,000 – depending on the stream that is being applied for.

Please contact us to discuss any specific project ideas, eligibility requirements or to provide feedback on the program. We will be continually reviewing this program and welcome community input.
